KUMU Museum with sightseeing in Tallinn
Opened in 2006, the impressive new main building of the Art Museum of Estonia is naturally a magnet for every visitor interested in Estonian culture. It comprises the museum collections and the restoration centre, as well as the multifunctional Kumu Art Museum, where permanent exhibitions, the gallery of contemporary art, the programmes held in auditorium and the edacational activities are all equally significant. Kumu is awarded European Museum of the year 2008.
Bus tour introduces the centre of Tallinn city, Kadriorg Park, Convent of St Bridget in the Pirita suburb and the famous Song Festival Ground. The guide gives a brief overview of Estonian history. The tour continues at Kadrioru Park and Kumu Art Museum where the group will have a guided tour for approximately one and half an hour.
